Gîtes les Tropes
The work of creative young architects, "Les Tropes" is a collection of 7 cottages nestling in the ground and covered with "plant walls".
Designed by contemporary architects Edouard François and Duncan Lewis, the gites are nestled in the ground and surrounded by walls of greenery, blending seamlessly into the surrounding forest. Illuminated by huge picture windows in direct contact with the outside world and nature, they are arranged around a large swimming pool and an old forest house restored as a reception room.Ideal for family or friends gatherings, seminars or wellness courses, we offer a friendly, comfortable and rejuvenating setting.
The site is located on the outskirts of Jupilles, a dynamic village that has kept its shops and offers a variety of activities such as visits to the museum of man and the forest, the clog factory, the market and its local produce on Sunday mornings, concerts and Brass'vie meals...
Meals can be prepared by a caterer and served at the gîte.
For walkers, we are located at the foot of the Bercé forest, an exceptional classified forest since 2017 with over 300km of waymarked paths. The surrounding countryside also offers many bucolic itineraries.
