Welcome to the Miroir de Loire gîte in La Ménitré

IN A NUTSHELL:
Located between Angers and Saumur, this gîte for 4 to 6 people was refurbished in 2017. Just 350 m from the banks of the Loire, the town, its shops and the station, this gîte enjoys a privileged location. Formerly a barn typical of Loire towns, the building has become a pleasant, modern, bright and welcoming little house with 3 bedrooms and 2 shower rooms. A welcoming 550m² garden completes the property.


THINGS TO DO NEARBY :
Strategic location: along the Loire, follow the tourist route to enjoy the magnificent scenery and observe the local flora and fauna. Take the Loire cycle route and visit the picturesque villages of Le Thoureil, La Bohalle, Saint Rémy La Varenne and Saint Mathurin sur Loire, all around ten kilometres away. Other sites of interest in the area include the châteaux of the Loire (Saumur, Montsoreau, Chinon, Angers, Serrant, Brissac, Brézé, all less than 1 hour away), the famous Bioparc at Doué-la-Fontaine or La Flèche, the forests of the Baugeois and Milly regions and the Anjou-Saumur vineyards. Also less than 100km away: Futuroscope and Puy du Fou.

You can take advantage of the many local festivities throughout the year: aperitif concerts, the Les Impatientes music festival in July, the Grande Tablée in Saumur in August...

DESIGN AND EQUIPMENT OF THE GITE :
Ground floor:
- 35m² living room with fitted kitchen, dining area, pellet stove and sitting room with television
- Master bedroom with dressing room, 160x200cm bed, shower room with walk-in shower, double washbasin unit and WC.
(The large bay window in the living room is fitted with roller shutters).

First floor:
- Two bedrooms, each with 2 beds 90x190cm
- Separate WC,
- Bathroom with bath and vanity unit

Outside, enclosed grounds not overlooked with terrace and pergola, wooden garden furniture, barbecue, sun loungers... A small 10 M² shed gives you plenty of space to store your bikes.
All these features promise you a holiday combining relaxation, comfort and discovery of the Anjou region.

Wifi internet connection. Private gated parking for 3 to 4 vehicles.
Additional charges: electricity (over 10 kwh per day), pellets for the wood-burning stove (€6 in 2024) and tourist tax.
