10 metres from the Loire and less than 15 minutes' walk from the town centre and market: come and discover the Loire Licorne, a gîte in Chalonnes-sur-Loire!

It's an ideal base for exploring Anjou and the surrounding area: the Terra Botanica plant park 25 minutes away, Angers and its famous Château des Ducs d'Anjou 30 minutes away, the Loire and its cycling route (just 10 metres away!), a trip to the Château de Serrant 10 minutes away or a kayak/cycle/hiking tour... In short, plenty to keep you busy during your stay! If you're a wine-lover, the area is famous for its appellations, all of which should be enjoyed in moderation (Anjou, Cabernet d'Anjou, Coteau du Layon, Coteau d'Aubance, Savennières).

On the ground floor, the gîte opens onto a large living room with a lounge, dining room and fully-equipped open-plan kitchen. WC and utility room. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, each with two 90cm x 190cm beds that can be pushed together, a shower room with walk-in shower and separate WC.

Outside, a private terrace allows you to admire the view of the Loire, depending on the season and water level. Garden furniture, parasol, barbecue and deckchairs will help you make the most of sunny days! The garden shared with gîte H49G014898 - Loire Licorne 2 is fully enclosed and the swing will delight children.

Shops 15 minutes' walk from the gîte. Unenclosed private parking for one car. Wi-fi internet connection. Cot, high chair and bath available on request.
