Les Gites du Château de la Boussinière

Welcome to Château de la Boussinière, the former home of the Widow AMIOT, a 17th-century château overlooking the Loire! Situated between Angers and Saumur, here are two elegantly decorated semi-detached gites with exceptional views over the Loire.

Set of two gîtes :
- the "Exceptional terrace" gîte: sleeps 4 or 6 people
- the "Remarkable view over the Loire" gîte: 7 or 9 people
Total capacity: 11 to 15 people.

To reach the Château, drive through an ancient gateway and drive into the park for 800 m (a majestic climb). In the heart of a 9-hectare park (an exceptional vantage point!), you will discover the historic home of the Veuve AMIOT, creator of a house of Fines Bulles in 1884.

La Demeure has two gîtes, both rated 3 stars, which can be rented individually or together.

The "Terrasse exceptionnelle" gite lives up to its name, overlooking the Loire from its private terrace.

The "Remarkable view over the Loire" gîte is located in the central building, in the heart of the château courtyard. This second gîte is self-catering. It has three bedrooms with private bathrooms and can also be rented as a "chambres d'hôtes".

Also on site (and open to all) is an ice-cream and drinks parlour and a shop selling decorative items (www.glacierroyal.fr). A delightful stopover on the banks of the Loire...

Very well located, 800 metres from the village and shops, on the La Loire à Vélo / La Vélo Francette itinerary. Nearby: villages full of character, vineyards with their cellars and estates, châteaux, troglodyte caves, trips on the Loire in traditional boats, canoes or paddles, cycling outings...
