Fancy a peaceful, relaxing break in the countryside with views of the vineyards? The Gîte du Pré is the perfect place! Situated in the former commune of Rablay-sur-Layon, you can enjoy lovely walks and explore the vineyards surrounding the gîte. Whether it’s Layon, Anjou or the fine sparkling wines of the Saumur region, your taste buds will be spoilt for choice! The owners will be delighted to share their knowledge of the vineyards with you and will give you a tour of the estate’s cellars.

Adjoining the winegrowers’ farmhouse, this 30 m² studio is entirely on one level and comprises a living area with:
- a fitted kitchen opening onto the dining area,
- a sleeping area (140 cm x 190 cm bed with an alcove)
- a relaxation area with a sofa bed
- a bathroom with a walk-in shower and toilet.

This old house has the advantage of staying naturally cool during heatwaves thanks to its thick stone walls.
Outside, a private terrace is available, complete with garden furniture, a barbecue and a parasol, so you can make the most of lovely sunny days. Wi-Fi included. Additional charges apply for: electricity consumption exceeding 8 kWh per day (at the current EDF rate) and heating (electric).

You can also enjoy other activities the region has to offer: visits to the Châteaux of the Loire, Brissac Castle 20 minutes away, Doué-la-Fontaine Bioparc 30 minutes away, exploring the banks of the Loire just a few minutes away, and tasting the region’s various wines (‘Coteaux du Layon’, ‘Chaume’, ‘Savennières’ etc.) Just 30 minutes away, discover the city of Angers, its castle, the Terra Botanica botanical park and many other activities.
