Set in the heart of a 6,000 m² wooded park, this unique holiday cottage in Mauges-sur-Loire is a former mill that has been restored as holiday accommodation. Its ideal location means you can visit many of the region’s tourist attractions: the Moulin de l’Epinay is 12 km away, the Château de la Baronnière is 15 km away and the Château de la Turmelière is 22 km away. You can also explore the many charming villages along the banks of the Loire and enjoy the open-air cafés lining the river: Saint-Florent-le-Vieil is 7 km away, Ingrandes 10 km, Montjean-sur-Loire 12 km away and Chalonnes-sur-Loire 20 km away. This holiday cottage is ideally situated for visiting Angers, with its castle, historic centre and Terra Botanica botanical park, a 40-minute drive away. Nantes, with its famous machines and the Château des Ducs de Bretagne, is an hour’s drive away. There are plenty of activities available around this former mill: boat trips along the Loire, walking tours and cycle rides on the ‘Loire à Vélo’ cycle route...

On the ground floor of this accommodation, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and a lounge with a flat-screen TV. A wood-burning stove in the centre of the room will create a cosy atmosphere on cold winter evenings. A first bedroom with a 140cm x 190cm bed is accessible from the ground floor. You’ll also find a shower room with a heated towel rail and a separate toilet. From the living area, you can access a second bedroom on the mezzanine level, which opens onto the kitchen and features a 140cm x 190cm bed. From the lounge, you can access the mill section of the accommodation. On the first floor (accessible via a steep staircase), there is an open-plan bedroom with a 90cm x 190cm bed. On the second floor, you can enjoy a reading corner with children’s books. Finally, on the third floor, you’ll have a stunning view of the wooded grounds and the surrounding area.

Outside, there is a terrace with garden furniture, a parasol and an unfenced garden. A high chair and a cot are provided. Firewood for the stove is supplied. Electricity and electric heating (beyond 8 kWh per day) are charged at an additional cost.
