Le Jardin

Let yourself be charmed by the Gîte Le Jardin, part of the Maison Aubelle, a fine 16th-century architectural ensemble. This pretty duplex comprises a living room with kitchenette on the ground floor and a double bedroom with bathroom upstairs.

In the wing of the 16th-century Manoir, an all-inclusive, comfortable stay for 2 people with swimming pool in Montreuil Bellay.

In the heart of the village, and very close to the château, the manor house and the tufa turret will remind you of the typical architecture of the Loire châteaux... Located on the town's main thoroughfare, it's within easy walking distance of numerous shops, restaurants and bars.

The 45m² duplex gîte comprises an 18m² living room with fitted and equipped kitchen, dining area and seating and TV area. From the kitchen, you have access to a small terrace with private garden furniture overlooking the garden and courtyard of the manor house.

Upstairs, on the mezzanine, an 18m² bedroom with a 180x200cm king-size bed (2 separate beds available). One window overlooks the street and the other the courtyard. The mezzanine also leads to a study area, a bathroom with vanity unit and bath and a separate toilet.

The swimming pool is open from 9am to 9pm and is accessible from May to the end of September. (Dimensions: 9x5m - secured by a barrier with a gate - pool not heated). The large courtyard, garden and swimming pool are shared with the tenants of the other 2 gîtes. In all, around 1,200m² of outdoor space right in the heart of the town. The owners, who live on site with their dog Tosca, will be delighted to welcome you and advise you on activities and good deals.

Nearby attractions: 300 m from the Château de Montreuil Bellay, which dates back to the 11th century and is steeped in history, 500 m from the banks of the Thouet and the Vélo Francette cycle route, 20 min from the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, 10 min from the Chateau de Brézé and its troglodyte underground passages, 15 min from the Doué La Fontaine Biopark. The town of Saumur is 20 minutes away by car, with its château, historic centre and Le Cadre Noir. Angers and Cholet are 1 hour away and the Puy du Fou 1 hour 10 minutes.

All-inclusive service (end-of-stay cleaning, bath and pool towels, beds made). Packed lunches, table sharing and breakfasts available on request from the owners. Pets welcome. No private parking space, but public car park on Place de la Concorde 100m away. Washing machine and tumble dryer in shared laundry room.
