Welcome to our family home, built in the mid-19th century and completely renovated in 2025 by the descendants of the original owners.

Nestling in the heart of the Vendée countryside, it combines the cachet of old stone with all modern comforts, in a calm, natural and soothing environment.

Designed to accommodate up to 12 people, this country house is ideal for holidays with family or friends.

A house for sharing:
The open-plan kitchen is both modern and functional, offering all the equipment you need to cook like at home: generous storage space, full set of crockery, quality appliances (coffee machine for Nespresso capsules, SMEG appliances, full-height fridge). It opens onto a large convivial table that can seat up to 12 guests for simple, shared meals.

The lounge is more intimate, inviting you to relax around a period granite fireplace that bears witness to the house's past.
Books, board games, Wi-Fi, a connected TV and, on request, a video projector with screen are all available for moments of sharing, laughter or relaxation.

"La chambre de Jeanne", on the ground floor:
- room for 4 people, ideal for a couple with 2 children
- 160 x 200 cm bed
- 90 x 190 cm bunk bed
- private shower room with 1.60 m shower and WC

"Le grenier", upstairs :
- bedroom for 2 people
- 2 beds 90 x 200 cm, which can be converted into a 180 x 200 cm bed
- private shower room with 1.20 m shower and WC

"Louise's bedroom", upstairs :
- bedroom for 2 people
- 1 bed 160 x 200 cm

"Juliette's bedroom, upstairs :
- bedroom for 2 people
- 2 beds 90 x 200 cm, which can be converted into a bed 180 x 200 cm

These two bedrooms share the same bathroom. The upstairs toilets are separate.

Connected to the house by a plant-filled pergola, "La pièce à Lucien", on the ground floor, offers an independent living space with :
- a bedroom with a 160 x 200 cm bed and en suite bathroom
- as well as a small kitchen and a lounge

Beds are made on arrival and household linen is provided (towels, tea towels, etc.). Cleaning at the end of your stay is also included.

The charms of the house?
A relaxation area with a private heated indoor swimming pool, accessible all year round, and a Nordic bath heated to 45°. For unforgettable moments of relaxation, whatever the season or the weather.
An atypical kitchen, with its alcove nestling in the house's old bread oven (at the beginning of the 20th century, the house was the village bakery!).

The exterior has also been designed with your comfort in mind.
You have at your disposal :
- an outdoor dining area under a plant-filled pergola, perfect for long summer evenings
- a plancha
- a bowls alley
- and a charging point for electric vehicles.

Le Calme d'Aimé is close to all the major tourist attractions in the Vendée: less than an hour from Les Sables d'Olonne, the Atlantic coast and the famous Puy du Fou, yet nestled in a green setting, far from the hustle and bustle, where you can recharge your batteries.

An authentic, warm and rejuvenating home, for unforgettable memories with family and friends. We have designed it as a place of peace and reunion, and are keen to preserve this atmosphere: parties are not permitted, to respect the calm of the site and the neighbourhood.
