Calm and relaxation: these are the key words for a stay in the gîte La Vieille Maison. With its exposed beams, stone staircase and fireplace, this 4-person gîte is perfect for a family break. Situated on the borders of Anjou, Vendée and Loire Atlantique, it's the perfect location for travelling between these three departments and discovering the many treasures of the region: Puy du Fou is 34 minutes away, the Atlantic coast 1 hour and Cholet, with its ice rink, swimming pool and L'Autre Usine sports and leisure complex (go-karting, bowling, laser-game, billiards, 5-a-side football, padel, squash, badminton and basketball) 25 minutes away. Looking for cultural outings? Nantes, with its Château des Ducs de Bretagne, cathedral and famous machines, is 40 minutes away. Angers, with its historic quarter, château des Ducs d'Anjou and Saint-Maurice cathedral, is 1 hour away. The Loire, Europe's last wild river, its fauna and flora and its guinguettes are 45 minutes away. The town of Clisson and its famous Hellfest festival are 13 minutes away. For fishing enthusiasts, the Gourmenière lake is 2 km from the gîte.

This 80 m² country house opens onto a fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor, decorated in a nautical theme. Reversible air conditioning is installed in this room. Adjoining the kitchen is a lounge/dining room with a working fireplace, perfect for cosy evenings reading by the fire. A shower room and WC are accessible from the kitchen. A stone staircase takes you upstairs. This leads to a mezzanine with two armchairs, a children's play area (board games) and a reading area, as well as two bedrooms: the first with a 140 cm x 190 cm bed and the second with two 90 cm x 190 cm beds. A separate WC completes this floor.

Outside: private courtyard, large 1,200 m² garden and sun loungers for spring and summer days. No barbecue available outside.

Included with your stay: wi-fi internet connection, high chair and cot. Additional charges: electricity above 8 kwh/day, heating (electric). Private parking available on the side of the house.
