Gîte in the countryside for a relaxing break, near Mayenne

Stay in the countryside, in this small stone house at the end of a small hamlet (former site of a 17th-century manor house) with an uninterrupted view over the lake.
You are 1km from Ambrières-les-Vallées and 15km from Mayenne. You'll enjoy the peace and quiet, birdwatching on the pond and the farmyard.
The gîte is on one level, although there is a small step at the entrance and to the terrace. The living room is spacious, with a dining area and a sitting area, with the option of sleeping in a 90x190 trundle bed. The bedroom has a 160*200 bed and a private, separate wc - washbasin and bidet. The kitchen opens directly onto the east-facing terrace.
All shops and services are 1.6 km away, in the village of Ambrières-les-Vallées. A restaurant is 500m away.
You can go hiking from the gîte. Fishing is possible on the Mayenne and Varenne rivers, 1km away (federal fishing card required): pike, tench, carp and whitefish.
For your leisure activities, the Vélo Francette greenway (Ousitréam to La Rochelle) is 500m away, the Parc de Vaux (summer swimming pool, mini-golf, hiking), the Haie Traversaine leisure centre is 5.6km away (water-based activities) and the Colmont leisure centre is 17km away (laser game, paint ball, tree courses, etc.).
The Vélo Francette greenway is just 500m away, so don't hesitate to take your bikes and cycle all the way to Mayenne.
