L'Arguray

Welcome to Gîte L'Arguray, in the heart of the Loire-Anjou-Touraine Regional Nature Park, in the hamlet of Chavannes, in the wine-growing commune of Le Puy-Notre-Dame. A great place for 6 people to stay in Anjou, in the heart of the vineyards.

In the heart of the Loire Anjou Touraine Regional Nature Park, enjoy your stay in the charming village of Chavannes, surrounded by vineyards... This 90m² holiday rental is the former bakery of the estate, which has been completely restored to create a pleasant, light-filled home. The tufa stone walls and light-coloured beams create a warm and relaxing atmosphere.

On the ground floor you will find :
- A 26m² living room with dining area, sitting room with television, fireplace and tufa bread oven (decorative - not functional).
- An 18m² fitted kitchen (oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer)
- A small shower room with washbasin
- Separate WC

First floor:
- 3 bedrooms: one with 2 90cm beds, one with 1 140cm bed and one with 1 160cm bed
- A shower room with a large shower, vanity unit and WC

From the kitchen, the east-facing terrace is equipped with garden furniture, parasol and barbecue. There is also a small west-facing terrace on the other side of the gîte. Lawns surround the gîte.

The gîte is located on the Domaine Viticole de l'Arguray, which uses troglodyte cellars to store and preserve its wines. The owners and their dog live close to the gîte. They will be delighted to show you around their business. Children will also love being able to freely observe the farmyard animals.
The Vélo Francette cycle route is just 3km away. The village of Le Puy Notre Dame, with its bakery, restaurant and pharmacy, is 2.5 km away and easily reached on foot.

A 10-minute drive away, visit the medieval town of Montreuil Bellay, classified as a small town of character, with its hilltop castle and panoramic view over the Thouet. You'll be 15 minutes from Doué la Fontaine and its Biopark, 20 minutes from Saumur and 25 minutes from the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION :
Pets accepted on request only: €100 per week + €100 deposit. Unenclosed private garden. Baby equipment available on request: high chair, folding bed and bath.
