In a peaceful location just 3 km from Saint Georges des Gardes (the highest point in Anjou!) and 6km from Chemillé-Melay, come and spend your stay in this fully renovated gîte. You'll be just 30 minutes from the Puy du Fou and can easily visit the major towns in the surrounding area, with Angers 45 minutes away, Saumur and Nantes 1 hour and Cholet just 20 minutes away.

Ground floor: a 30m² living room with dining area and lounge, a fully-equipped separate kitchen, a bedroom with a 140cm x 190cm bed, a shower room with walk-in shower and separate toilet.

Upstairs: one bedroom with a 140cm x 190cm bed, a third bedroom with two 90cm x 190cm beds and a toilet with washbasin. In the two upstairs bedrooms, the original beams of the building are at a height of 1.55m.

Outside, you'll enjoy a terrace with barbecue, garden furniture and parasol, directly accessible from the living area via a large bay window. This well-shaded area is ideal for hot weather. The terrace is private and the outdoor area communicates with gîte H49G015822 - Mélisse.

[THINGS TO SEE / DO DURING YOUR STAY]

There are many sites to visit near Mélisse! The Camifolia garden is just 7 minutes from the gîte, the Maulévrier Oriental Park (Europe's largest Japanese garden) is 25 minutes away and the Puy du Fou is 30 minutes away. Angers, with its Terra Botanica plant park, historic city centre and banks of the River Maine, is 45 minutes away. If you're a wine-lover, your stay will be an opportunity to discover the many appellations in the area, with wine-growers opening their doors to the public.
