Les Laurielles

Les Ulmes is a village made up of several hamlets with a varied cultural heritage. This is where you'll find the charmingly restored 18th-century guest house with swimming pool, "Les Laurielles".

Situated between Tours and Angers, less than 15 minutes from Saumur and the banks of the Loire, welcome to Les Laurielles guest house: 2 double bedrooms in a beautiful tuffeau stone property.

The Toucan room, ideal for family breaks: on the ground floor, a lovely 21m² air-conditioned room with a sitting area, a sofa bed and a coffee table, a television, and a 160x200cm bed. En-suite shower room with vanity unit, heated towel rail and large walk-in shower. Separate toilet.

The Colibri room, on the first floor, is accessed via an external staircase. Armchair, small table, television, 160x200cm bed, air conditioning. Go down three steps to reach the shower room: vanity unit, toilet, walk-in shower and heated towel rail.

The bedrooms have a separate entrance from the owners’ house, allowing you to come and go as you please.

A summer kitchen in the garden is available for you to prepare and enjoy your meals during your stay: fridge, freezer, hob, oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and crockery (unheated room).
Access to the secure swimming pool, enclosed by walls and protected by a lockable gate, to be shared with guests staying in the B&B and the self-catering cottage. You will also have access to the rest of the property, a vast 2,500m² area to be shared with guests staying in the B&B and the self-catering cottage: lawn, orchard, children’s play area, badminton net, football goal, pétanque court, sauna… A bicycle shelter and a bicycle hire service are available on site.

The owners will welcome you on site and will be delighted to advise you on day trips and exploring the surrounding vineyards. You’ll be just 10 minutes from Doué-la-Fontaine, its famous Le Bioparc zoo and numerous troglodyte sites. Enjoy an ideal location for exploring Anjou: Saumur Castle, the Cadre Noir, the cave cellars, the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud (25 minutes away), the banks of the Loire – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – as well as charming villages and local markets. Nature lovers will also appreciate the cycle routes, the ‘Loire à Vélo’ cycle path, the walking trails and the region’s typical vineyard landscapes.
