Fancy a stopover in the Saumur area, close to plenty of tourist attractions? La Thibaudière is the perfect choice! Whether you’re travelling as a couple, with friends or with family, the four bedrooms at this guesthouse in Allonnes are sure to delight you. Must-see highlights in the area: Saumur, with its château overlooking the Loire and its famous Cadre Noir riding school, 15 minutes away; the Bioparc in Doué-en-Anjou, 30 minutes away; the châteaux of the Loire Valley (Saumur 15 minutes away, Chinon 35 minutes away, Azay-le-Rideau 40 minutes away), the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud 20 minutes away, not to mention walks or cycle rides along the Loire à Vélo cycle route (with a refreshing break at one of the many open-air cafés open in season).

Situated on the wine route, 3 km from the motorway exit, La Thibaudière, a characterful 18th-century tuffeau stone residence, comprises:

- A communal living area for guests’ use, with a lounge/dining room, a fridge and a microwave. Breakfast, served in this room or on the outdoor terrace, consists of yoghurt and homemade cakes, bread and pastries made by a local baker, several varieties of honey, tea, coffee and hot chocolate… Everything you need for a great start to the day!

- Two bedrooms upstairs, in the owners’ house: the Champigny bedroom, with two 100cm x 200cm beds and one 90cm x 190cm bed, and the Bourgueil bedroom, with one 160cm x 200cm bed.
Both of these bedrooms are air-conditioned.

- In a garden-level annexe, there are two bedrooms: the Chinon bedroom, with one bed measuring 160cm × 200cm and one bed measuring 90cm × 190cm, in a 1.7-metre-high sloping-ceilinged mezzanine; and the second room, Saumur, with a 160cm x 200cm bed and two 90cm x 190cm beds in a 1.7-metre-high sloping-ceilinged mezzanine. Both bedrooms are fitted with fans.

Each bedroom has a TV, a bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet.

Outside, you can enjoy sunny days whilst relaxing on one of the many garden furniture sets.

A GLUTEN-FREE breakfast is available upon booking.

Wi-Fi is available in the lounge, on the terrace and in the Champigny and Bourgueil bedrooms.

To make the most of the gentle Anjou climate, we offer a spa area. The price is 15 euros per person for 1 hour, including a bathrobe. Opening hours are from 4 pm to 8 pm; we recommend booking your time slot in advance.

The restaurant ‘La Quincaillerie’ welcomes you in Allonnes, 800 metres away, serving traditional cuisine.
