La Maison d'Héloïse

The owners welcome you to this former coaching inn in the village of Pruillé, 17 km from Angers and on the Laval–Rennes route. Your stay will be the perfect opportunity to explore the gems of our region: the Terra Botanica botanical park, 15 minutes away; the Mine Bleue, a former mining site in the Anjou Bleu region, 25 minutes away; Angers and its historic city centre, 15 minutes away; and the River Loire, 20 minutes away. The vineyards, which are open to the public, will tantalise your taste buds with a wide range of appellations to sample: Anjou, Coteaux du Layon, Saumurois… Please drink in moderation!
Héloïse’s house comprises the following on the first floor:
- The ‘Bengali’ bedroom, with a 160cm x 200cm bed, an en-suite bathroom with shower and a separate toilet, accessible directly from the bedroom.
- The ‘La Colibri’ family suite, comprising two separate bedrooms: one with a 160cm x 200cm bed, and the second, ‘La Mésange’, with two 90cm x 200cm beds that can be joined to form a 180cm x 200cm bed. The bathroom with shower and the toilet, situated in the same room, are not connected to these bedrooms but are located directly opposite. If you wish to book both bedrooms for two people, the rate is €132 per night; in this case, please contact the Gîtes de France booking office directly.
On the ground floor is the living area, with a dining room and a relaxation area. This is where our generous breakfasts are served every morning: brioche, pastries, fresh bread, organic fruit juice, cereals, fresh fruit (seasonal), dried fruit, compote, homemade jams, honey, coffee, tea, hot chocolate… Everything you need to get the day off to a good start! Board games and children’s games are available for you to use during your stay, as well as a high chair and a travel cot.
The village of Pruillé lies on the routes to Santiago de Compostela and Mont Saint-Michel, and on the Vélofrancette cycle route, which links Ouistreham to La Rochelle.
To cater for cyclists, the Maison d’Héloïse provides a “cycle shed” where bikes can be stored safely. You can park your car right in front of the house.
